Investors

If you are one of the following:

• Individual investors: successful entrepreneurs, executives, or investors themselves.  You provide capital, mentorship, and guidance to the searchers throughout the process.  You may also serve as board members or advisors for the acquired company. 

• Institutional investors: specialized funds or firms that focus on investing in search funds or entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).  You offer larger amounts of capital, access to a network of resources and partners, and expertise in deal sourcing, due diligence, and value creation. 

• Search fund accelerators: programs that provide training, coaching, and support to searchers in exchange for a share of their equity or fees.  You help searchers develop their skills, refine their criteria, and accelerate their search process.
